i will call chris up today and get a more accurate quote, the candy paint isn't going to be cheap, but i think you'll get out better doing the prep work yourself.
make sure you get the stickers off, then clean all the glue from the stickers off before you sand it. i'd take a scotch pad and some commet and scrub the fairings once you get all the glue off, then rinse and wet sand with some 400-600 grit paper, just try not to break through the paint so nothing has to be primed, that will run you more on time b/c then the parts will have to be re-sanded. let everything dry and get a sanding scotch pad and go over anything you missed.

here's what mine looked like before the clear and yellow. as for a price... if you want blue like that i would go with more of a mainstream blue than a candy. candy paint costs substantially more and unless its a show bike i wouldn't fork out the extra dough. come down to the shop, pick out a color you like and we'll go from there. standard colors all over runs about $500 and up the candy colors $700 and up. as for my paint, its a standard honda blue but has white pearl in it which is why the color changes in the light and angle
